The Good: Greg told me about how sweet Peanut was being on Monday. He said "Sometimes I like ants. Ants need to eat too! I think they would like to eat animal cookies chocolate!" and he gave the ants a cookie. "Awwwwwwwwwww," said I, proud of my child who is thinking about how other creatures feel.

The Bad: "...wait- ...you're outside, right?" "Nope." WONderful! o.0

As you may remember, on Tuesday, June 16th, the Fergus Falls State Hospital tower was struck by lightning and started on fire!

I have no idea how bad it looks on the inside, but all the reports I've seen are that damage was "minimal." So *whew*! Luckily the firefighters got to it right away! Coincidentally, 2 days later I was on my way to Grand Forks, and was able to swing by and snap a couple of pictures! :)

Happy 4th of July everyone!

Today is Greg's birthday so we're going up to the restaurant for dinner. I got him some cigars and some books that won't be here until next week. Peanut is writing him a little "book." It's called "The Big Man Lost His Keys and Went to the Fair." And it's totally insane. Makes no sense! But that's ok! Peanut is uber-cute!

Did some little fireworks last night. Peanut LOVES fireworks! Got some pictures too. i love firework pictures! We probably won't be seeing any big firework shows tonight unless we can see them from our backyard. There's no WAY I'm going to handle both those boys at a fireworks show all by my lonesome!

Peanut's b-day party is next weekend. Blah. My house is SOOOO messy! I might have to call the City Pages and have them come do their featured trash house in here. Do they still do that? It wouldn't be so bad if that baby didn't trash the place faster than i can clean it! He's going to need some baby jail time later, definitely!

And in other news, I might do the art & wine walk again this month. So another trip to GF maybe!

DOOD! Is he gonna jump on me again??

You see that yellow ball under the radiator there? It's from a stacking toy I got squish, and it has a bell inside it. I cannot keep it out of that spot! Every time I put it back in the bin, as soon as Squish takes it out again, it's under the radiator in that same spot. I guess that's the low point in my living room. I've mostly given up on it. It can live there. It clearly wants to!

I'm a zombie today (so what's new?) I was up matting and framing things again last night. Blah.

If I make any money at this show, I'm going to buy a new printer with it. I went to this art supply store yesterday (to get more linen tape), and I found out Arches makes ink jet paper for fine art prints! :O I want I want I want! You know how much my place charges me for fine art prints?? An 8x10 is $30! If I had a printer that would take thick paper, I could do them at home and pass those savings along to my customers!

Anyway, gotta stop thinking about mats and frames and things... so moving right along, I am way behind in posting pictures in here! There are still 2 from April that I've yet to post.

Oh! And speaking of art, I fixed this picture! I even ordered a 4x6 print of it, so I'll see if it's good enough to make prints! Oooooooo this is one of my favorites, and I've been so sad I never got a good picture of it! =D

In other news, Peanut needs a haircut cause he's looking uber-emo. I can't even see his eyes anymore!
